Forgot this yesterday...

I totally forgot to post this yesterday.....Well you all know how I love my Cricut...
A few weeks ago I went for a spot on a DT using the Cricut...Crazy About Cricut and I was picked.....So on Thursdays watch for some new stuff this looks like it will be lots of fun..Have a great day.

Yea it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

I don't know what it is about having a short week....but it seems a lot longer than 4days of working....

It's time for another Fabulous Friday Challenge at Frosted Designs this week...Dots & Stripes. Here is my layout for this weeks challenge.


I went through my scrap pile and found these papers from a project I did last year...I thought they matched my photo the papers had some dots and some stripes so I was very happy. The single photo is of my daughter and granddaughter taken on Easter morning at Lock Ridge Park. Little Brooke is getting so big and she is just the sweetest baby ever. Well that's it for now getting ready for a busy weekend...I should say a busy DOG filled weekend...several dog events are in store for us this weekend hope the weather holds out and not too hot for the Huskies walk on Sunday.

Catch up Monday

After a long weekend it's good to have off today and play catch up with everything..
Housework...wash....blogging...scrapbooking....maybe later some baking....but first back to scrapbooking... I did this layout this morning for this weeks sketch over at Sketches in Thyme.

NOw off to find homes for all the layouts I have completed in the past few weeks..My albums are getting full...

April 22 It's A Good Friday

Our Easter vacation starts today...and we have lots planned....lots to do...If the rain holds off we are going to the ZOO later this moring. Then the EGGS are waiting to be colored...making some cupcakes and maybe some more dog treats too...

Sketches in Thyme has a design team call they wanted you to use this sketch and submit a layout.
This morning I submitted this layout for a spot on the design team.
I just love this photo I used... Gabe kissing his mommy...Aubrey looking at mommy like what are we doing mommy...and baby Hannah crying because she wants to eat....that's life with a family of five...

365 update and much much more..

My post today I think will have lots in it....First my update on my 365 daily life
Week 2 is done and in the album....So far I am happy with the way it is turning out...I am sure When we look at this album even next year it will be nice to have...

We took the kids for a photo s shoot...Gabes third birthday....new baby Hannha's first photo session and the whole family....




I finished up on this layout I was working on...It's Papa John and Brooke...Papa John does not like to HOLD the little ones when they are little...So we sesized the moment and ploped Brooke right next to Papa John while he was not looking...He was doing some bowling stuff on his coumpter...Brooke looks like she is helping him...



Lastly a few words about the dumb robbin who is trying to find a HOME for her eggs...
I noticed "stuff" laying on the cellar door the other day...then this morning I saw all the dogs looking up then I went out, with my camera, and there she is making a nest right on top of the power lines coming into the back of the house...Her babies when they fall out of the nest better hope the dogs are in the house....any way thats it for now....Gotta go get ready for the Easter Vacation....

What to do with all these pictures???

My pictures that I have had printed are really starting to build up...with 4 grandkids, many trips to Disney, Wedding pictures, and the dog photos not to forget about my daily life photos...I have a ton of unscraped photos...
So my plan for these upscraped photos....I look at the events/day find the ones I want to scrap I put them in a folder along with some ideas on a title or just thoughts on those photos. The folder then goes into a tub so that later I can grab it when I want to scrap some older photos.... I had a challenge due...so I went to that tub and found pictures from my daughters wedding back in June of 2008. The challenge is at The Moments Scrap A Tune I did a search for wedding/dancing music I found what I think is the perfect song for my photos...We are Family..every wedding plays it...to me these photos are priceless I am so happy that I finally got around to scraping them.


Then the pictures of the newest baby...I do not have many pictures of little Hannah I was at HOME taking care of her brother & sister I did manage to snap these of her. A picture of Daddy holding the new baby...Gabe & Aubrey checking her out..Welcome to the world little miss Hannah this is your very first layout. I made the little fabric flower in the bottom left corner it's part of a challenge for handmade embellishments over at Frosted Designs

Sunny Thursday..

Finally the sun is shinning..but the weatherman said enjoy it now more rain coming tis weekend...The sun inspired me this morning and so did the Sketch from Sketches in Thyme.

Week one my take on the 365 daily album

Here is my album so far...I have changed my ideas on how I wanted to do this album...I was giving too much time not being able to scrap my other photos so I will do week by week...I will still be taking photos everyday and collecting my thoughts daily but I will do a week at a time in my album. This is Week one....

2 pager challenge

Not too long ago all I did was 2 page layouts...but lately I do single pages not sure why I think because of the 3 ring albums I now use....any way 2 pagers are nice helps scrap all these pictures I have of dogs and grandkids...This was a layout I did for a challenge at The Moments....go check it out lots of other great challenges also...

Watch out for Monsters

My 365 is coming along nicely...keeping up barley...here is a layout I did this morning for The Moments Color challenge. Green & Purple....When I was looking at photos trying to pick one out....came across this one...Little Miss Brookie has purple on so I thought it would be a perfect fit...


Given lost of thought on my 365 I am going to update and catch up on the weekends much too susy to try to work on that everyday but I am taking pictures collecting things to add to my album...

Working on my 365 daily

Over at The Moments I started a sort of challenge mostly for myself to do my take on a 365 daily album...I planned to start it April first..well I did start it but already fallen behind...I have take the photos did the journaling and a few things have made it into the albumbut I have not take picutes of my album so far...I think I am going to up date my progress each weekend when the week is over....today I did a layout for a challenge a scraplift challenge go check it out...Now my layout looks nothing like the one we were to copy but thats ok wiht me...I got another layout done for Brookes first year album...

Thats it for this morning...off to check facebook and work on my 365.

Bling....Bling....Bling.....Today over at Frosted Designs it's all about the Bling...
Here is my project ...I had these 2 photos on my desk for a few months now...waiting to be scraped....then I said to myself.... I think I have a stamp that would go just perfect with these photo...add a little Bling and call it done...



By this afternoon I should be a grandmother for the fourth time...My son and his wife went into the hospital early this morning to have little Hannah. Pictures to follow as soon as I get to the hospital.
